Description

Zoo Atlanta is going Blue for a day designed in support of Autism Awareness Month! The Zoo will open early at 8 a.m. for families with children or individuals affected by autism, giving them a unique opportunity to experience the Zoo before general admission hours. Of course, families are welcome to continue to enjoy the Zoo experience after they open to the public at 9:30 a.m.

In addition to early admission, Zoos Go Blue includes educational activities, a specialized World of Wild Theater bird presentation, animal viewing and demonstrations, and character meet and greet opportunities. A Quiet Zone space will also be provided for any families who need to take a break. Volunteers from Georgia Autism Speaks will be on grounds to answer questions and assist visiting families.
