For her solo exhibition at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia, Lauri Stallings offers a show and meditation on choreography at the intersection of what is social, political, timely and sincere. The project mines certain kinds of possibilities through a female version of self-determination, staying, and hunting, as body language in a regulated state of assembly and articles. This show connects to previous public art projects of glo, to construct the museum as an archive site, performance venue, working studio and classroom. The moving artists of glo, gloLAB, volunteer GUILD, and community, will occupy MOCA GA daily for seven weeks during all museum open hours.
