Description
Back by popular demand! This magical, exclusive night celebrates the closing weekend of the Center for Puppetry Arts’ special exhibit, Jim Henson’s Labyrinth: Journey to Goblin City. This is the last chance to view the exhibit’s spellbinding collection of goblins and gowns, with behind-the-scenes artwork, photos, and video to guide you on your journey into the world of the Goblin King! Guests are encouraged to wear Labyrinth-themed costumes or masquerade costumes and masks. Pose for photos on the Goblin King’s throne and dance to the music from the film and other dance favorites from the ‘80s. Toby Froud (son of fantasy illustrator and Labyrinth concept designer Brian Froud—and THE baby Toby from the film!) and Lisa Henson (President and CEO of the Jim Henson Company, and Jim's daughter) will be joining in. Toby will be judging the costume contest. There will be a beer and wine bar and complimentary heavy hors d’oeuvres.
