Description
This exhibit focuses on land surveyor, Lat Ridgway, who worked during in Cherokee County during the 1950s to '70s. “The Museum is fortunate that Mr. Ridgway’s family donated the contents of his home office, along with his extensive map and aerial photograph collection,” said Meghan Quinlan, program manager for the Historical Society. “His aerial photo collection allows visitors to compare Cherokee County during the '30s and ‘50s to how much we have grown today.”
