Description

During the Renaissance and Baroque periods, the organ and the harpsichord were used in home music, chamber music, and church services. Shannon Gallier, music director at St. Bartholomew’s Episcopal Church, and Paula Curl will perform with Lauda Musicam and the partner ensemble, Uncommon Practice, in this concert of music featuring keyboard instruments. Lauda Musicam is an instrumental ensemble of recorders, viols, flutes, harpsichord, sackbuts, shawms, harps, crumhorns, cornettos, percussion and other historical instruments.
