Description

The Callanwolde Fine Arts Center Gallery presents Interference, a solo exhibition by Dave Armistead, winner of the 2019 Callanwolde Juried Exhibition.

Dave Armistead received his BFA from The Atlanta College of Art in 2005 and then completed his MFA from Clemson University in 2013. Currently, Armistead is the Senior Museum Prepartor at the Michael C. Carlos Museum on Emory University’s campus. Previously, he worked as a professor of painting, sculpture, foundations and art appreciation at Brenau University in Gainesville, Georgia. Armistead has exhibited his work at the Woodruff Arts Center, (Atlanta, Georgia), Agnes Scott College (Decatur, Georgia), University of Wisconsin (Madison, Wisconsin), and Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia (Atlanta, Georgia) among others.
