Challenge The Stats Impact Atlanta Concert

Jan 23
Wed, Jan 237pm – 9pm

The Challenge the Stats Impact Atlanta Concert will use the power of the arts to fight for social justice in the city of Atlanta. Through music, dance, poetry, and interactivity, the evening events will celebrate high-caliber artists of color and highlight the work of advocates for the homeless community.

In addition to performances by harpist Angelica Hairston, the concert will debut a contemporary multisensory piece of music for harp and pipe organ by African American composer Maurice Draughn, based on the marches of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The Atlanta Homeward Choir, which is comprised of members impacted by homelessness, will perform with the Georgia State University Choral Union.
