Description
Erich Nunn and Regina Bradley will discuss how Cabbagetown - at the turn of the 20th century - was once the capital of country music, with some of the period’s biggest "Hillbilly" stars living and/or performing in the community. Yet how do the community’s musical roots relate to evolving tastes and trends, especially with today’s new residents? Music is still very much alive and well in Cabbagetown, but how has it changed - and where is it going - considering the dramatic transformation of the neighborhood’s demographic?
