Description

The Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival is an annual spring celebration in Blackburn Park. The festival is both family-friendly and dog-friendly with activities for all ages and all pooches. It began in 2014 when the City of Brookhaven planted 240 Yoshino and Kwanzan Cherry Trees in Blackburn Park. Attendees can stroll the artist market, buy food from local food trucks and vendors, have fun in the a Kidz Zone, check out the classic car show, participate in a 5k race, and hear live music. This year crowds can enjoy music on the “Big Stage” from Craig Morgan, Keith Anderson, Edwin McCain, Hannah Wicklund and the Steppin’ Stones, Transviolet and others. For fido, there’s a special pet area, as well as a pet parade and costume contest on Sunday.
