Description
In the 1830s, Barrington King and his father, Roswell King, co-founded the colony that became Roswell. On the highest point, overlooking the town, Barrington built a magnificent home for his family that today is recognized as one of the best examples of Greek Revival architecture in the United States. The property is open to the public for tours, many educational activities and events. Tours of the house are offered on the hour Monday through Saturday with the first tour starting at 10 a.m. and the last tour starting at 3 p.m. and Sunday with the first tour at 1 p.m. and the last tour at 3 p.m.
