Kevin Gillespie, a Top Chef alum and owner of local restaurant favorites Gunshow and Revival, will serve as executive chef of Back on the Farm, the Atlanta History Center’s signature fall event supporting Smith Family Farm and its activities. To curate a delicious evening of Southern favorites, Kevin will lead a group of the Southeast’s best chefs and pit masters, including Sam Jones of the legendary Skylight Inn BBQ in Ayden, N.C., Suzanne Vizethann of Atlanta’s Buttermilk Kitchen, and Seni Alabi-Isama of Statesboro’s SmoQue Pit. Back on the Farm provides support for the Smith Family Farm and its unique educational programming that tens of thousands of school children experience each year, as well as the newly established 4-H program run in conjunction with UGA Extension at the History Center.
