Description

This celebration features speaker Beverly Daniel Tatum, a clinical psychologist and higher education thought leader on race relations, as well as music from college and community members. Voices of Praise gospel choir, Oxappella, and the Newton County MLK Interdenominational Choir will perform. Tatum served 13 years as Spelman College president (2002–2015) and wrote the best-seller "Why Are All the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria? and Other Conversations About Race."
