Atlanta Ballet To Perform ‘Nutcracker’ At Fox For Last Time Before Move To Cobb County

The Atlanta Ballet continues a holiday tradition with the opening of “The Nutcracker” at the historic Fox Theatre.

“The Nutcracker” runs from Dec. 7 to 24.

But this year’s run is steeped in nostalgia.

After 25 years at the Fox, the Atlanta Ballet announced that next year it is moving the beloved production to the Cobb Energy Centre.

“Morning Edition” host Lisa Rayam had an opportunity to chat with artistic director Gennadi Nedvigin at a recent morning rehearsal and began by asking Nedvigin his thoughts on the move.
