The Tony Award-winning musical ‘Cats’ will be making a stop in Atlanta as a part of its 30 country tour. Expect to experience the original scenes, costume design and score, but there will be new choreography and sound design.
When: Aug. 10, 1 to 9 p.m.
Where: 500 S Columbia Drive, Decatur
Cost: $15 for General Admission, Free for kids 12 and under
This festival returns for its 19th year in Legacy Park in Decatur. Live blues and bluegrass performances will be the tunes for the day while southern BBQ sizzles in smokers.
When: Aug. 9, 7 to 11 p.m.
Where: Fernbank Museum, 767 Clifton Rd NE, Atlanta
Cost: $14.95 for members and $19.95 for non-members
This month of Fernbank After Dark will explore the science within action movies. During the night a showing of Museum Alive 3D and a live performance by the indie rock band Lesbiu Grand.
When: Aug. 10, 12 to 10 p.m.
Where: City Winery Atlanta, 650 North Ave. NE Ste 201, Atlanta
Cost: $45 per session
A selection of more than 50 wines will be available for tasting at this indoor festival. There will also be some brews to taste while jamming out to the sounds of live music. Tickets for either Session 1, from 12 to 4 p.m., or Session 2, from 6 to 10 p.m., can be bought online.

Where: Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Trail
Cost: $38 per person
Explore the East Side Trail of the Atlanta Beltline by stopping by the bars during this year’s summer pub crawl. Apres Diem, Guac Y Margys and CHAR are a few of the participating establishments. Ticket holders will get to choose five complimentary drinks.
