8 Easter Events Happening In Atlanta

Now, it’s that time of the year for pastel colors, egg toting and Easter celebrations.

Here’s our list of some of “egg-citing” Easter events happening in Atlanta this month.

Natural Egg Dyeing

When: April 13, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Where: Atlanta Botanical Garden, 1345 Piedmont Ave. NE, Atlanta

Cost: $5 to $6

Color eggs with plant dyes during this interactive program that is being hosted by the Atlanta Botanical Garden.

Keggs and Eggs

When: April 13, 3 to 5 p.m.

Where: Ironmonger Brewing, 2129 NW Pkwy SE #105, Marietta

Cost: $11

This 21 and over event includes an Easter egg hunt and brews. Admission ensures that attendees will get a pint of beer and access to prizes.

Gorilla Egg Hunts And More!

When: April 20

Where: Zoo Atlanta, 800 Cherokee Ave. SE, Atlanta

Cost: Free for Zoo Atlanta members and children under 3, free with general admission

Eggs will also be scattered throughout the grounds for attendees to gather up.

Eggstravaganza Easter Egg Hunt

When: April 20, 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Where: Callanwolde Fine Arts Center, 980 Briarcliff Road N.E., Atlanta

Cost: $7.50

Egg Hunts for kids ranging from 1 to 11 will be happening on the lawns of Callanwolde. There will also be a dance floor, face painter and crafts area. For the adults, there is a bar stocked with drinks, such as mimosas.

Easter Brunch at Southern Art

When: April 21, 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Where: Southern Art & Bourbon Bar, 3315 Peachtree Road, Atlanta

Cost: $95 per adult, $45 for children five years and older, free for children under five

Expect a Belgian waffle and omelet station and seafood bar, among other offerings at this brunch. Southern Art’s classics, such as buttermilk fried chicken and black truffle deviled eggs, will also be offered. The Easter Bunny will also be onsite for photo ops.

Easter Brunch

When: April 21, 11 a.m.

Where: St. Regis Atlanta, Eighty-Eight West Paces Ferry Road, Atlanta,

Cost: $155 for adults, $75 for kids 12 years, 22 percent service charge

Take in the elegance of The St. Regis while eating Sunday brunch for Easter. Breakfast market products are on the brunch menu and a Bloody Mary Mimosa station will be set up in the venue. Kids will get to meet The Mad Hatter, Queen of Hearts and the Easter Bunny at this Alice in Wonderland themed event.

Easter Brunch & Petting Zoo 

When: April 21, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Where: Omni Hotel at the Battery Atlanta, 2625 Circle 75 Parkway SE, Atlanta

Cost: $40 for adults, $15 for children ages 5-12

At the Omni Hotel, the brunch will include a buffet stocked full of customizable waffle and shrimp and grits stations. Sweet potato casserole, buttermilk biscuits and Easter-themed desserts will also be offered at the event while live jazz is performed at the venue.
