Take the family to watch Marvel Universe heroes embark on a quest. The Hulk, Black Panther and Thor will be assembling in the State Farm Arena to but they will be met with the wrath of villains Loki, Green Goblin and Nebula.

Where: Fox Theatre, 660 Peachtree St., NE, Atlanta
Cost: $29 and up
While Alvin Ailey celebrates 60 years, they will make a stop in Atlanta for four nights of performances, such as “Lazurs” and “Revelations.” On Saturday, the “Timeless Ailey” will give attendees a rare look at some of the choreographer’s “seldom-seen gems”.
When: Feb. 23, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: DoubleTree by Hilton, 1075 Holcomb Bridge Rd, Atlanta
Black history and culture will be at the forefront of this festival where black creatives will be showing off their works. Merchants will also be selling handmade pieces at the event.
When: Feb. 23, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Where: Parade starts at Hurt Park
This parade will run from Hurt Park to Centennial Olympic Park Drive and Baker Street. Onlookers can watch the procession from along Marietta, Peachtree Center Avenue and Peachtree Street.
When: Feb. 23, 6 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Where: Registration at Neighbor’s Pub, 752 N Highland Ave. NE, Atlanta
Cost: $15 before Feb. 18, $30 starting on Feb. 20
Become immersed in Carnival season festivities and fun by visiting Virginia Highlands. Participating bars include Neighbor’s Pub, Tiki Iniki and Dark Horse Tavern. Admission includes Mardi Gras beads, a free New Orleans themed shot and deals.
