This upcoming week isn’t just about Valentine’s Day.
There is a slew of social events that will be celebrating other major days such as Chinese New Year and Mardi Gras.

Where: Sweet Auburn BBQ, 656 N Highland Ave. NE, Atlanta

Sweet Auburn BBQ will be breaking out a pop-up menu that will have select Chinese foods, along with specialty cocktails. Traditional Chinese lion dancers will be performing at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m.
When: Feb. 15, 6 to 10 p.m.
Where: High Museum of Art, Atlanta, 1280 Peachtree Street NE, Atlanta
Cost: Free with museum admission, $14.50; free for members
For the February edition of Friday Jazz at the High, singer Tabreeca Woodside will be taking the spotlight inside of the High Museum of Art.
When: Feb. 15, 7 p.m.
Where: Monday Night Garage, 933 Lee St. SW, Atlanta
Cost: $35 for general admission, $15 for a designated driver
This 21 and over Alice In Wonderland prom dance party will be happening at Monday Night Garage. General admission comes with three beers and a prom glass. Dance the night away at this event, because the winners of the dance-off will be crowned prom king and queen.
When: Feb. 16, 12 to 6 p.m.
Where: The Curb Market, 209 Edgewood Ave. SE, Atlanta
Cost: $20 before Feb. 9, $30 for the week of the event
The Atlanta Streetcar will take party goers through downtown for some New Orleans inspired fun. Sabor, a New Orleans street band, will be performing and food and drinks inspired by the Big Easy will be offered at participating establishments, such as Miss D’s Popcorn & Pralines, Tilapia Express, Edgewood Speakeasy, Big Kahuna and Slice.
When: Feb. 16, 2 to 10 p.m.
Where: SweetWater Brewing Co, 195 Ottley Drive NE, Atlanta
Cost: $34 for general admission
SweetWater Brewing Company is turning 22 and celebrating by throwing a party full of live music, such as Anders Osborne, Grassland String Band and Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue. Tickets include admission into the event space and access to buy beers and food at SweetWater.
