With more than one million visitors expected, it’s going to be a busy weekend in Atlanta.

But if you’re skipping Super Bowl-related activities, there’s still plenty to do.

See a live performance of Romeo and Juliet or drink a cold one at the Atlanta Winter Beer Fest.

We’ve compiled some of the must-see events happening in Atlanta this week.

UniverSoul Circus

When: Jan. 30 to March 3

Where: Old Turner Field – Grey Lot, 150 Ralph D. Abernathy Blvd., Atlanta

Cost: $16 and up depending on the day

The UniverSoul Circus is making a stop in Atlanta during its 25th year of operating as a show. See contortionists and performers under the big top located in downtown Atlanta.

Geeks Who Drink Trivia Night

When: Jan. 31, 7 to 9 p.m.

Where: City Winery Atlanta, 650 North Ave. NE Ste 201, Atlanta

Cost: Free

Win goodies, ranging from gift cards to CDs, while playing this trivia that is known nationally. Trivia will span the length of eight rounds, packed full of reading of questions.

Romeo and Juliet

When: Jan. 31 through Feb. 24, shows start at 7:30 p.m. every day except for on Sundays at 6:30 p.m.

Where: The Shakespeare Tavern Playhouse, 499 Peachtree St. NE, Atlanta

Cost: prices vary

Shakespeare Tavern will have performances of the timeless tale of Romeo Juliet. The show is running throughout the month of February starring Antonia LaChé as Juliet and Joshua Goodridge as Romeo.

Atlanta Winter Beer Fest

When: Feb. 2, 1 to 5 p.m.

Where: Atlantic Station, 1380 Atlantic Drive NW, Atlanta

Cost: $40 per ticket

Expect to choose from a wide selection of beers and wines while attending this winter festival. Beer from local and local breweries will be served while live music is performed.

Grant Park Winter Market

When: Feb. 3, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Where: Eventide Brewing, 1015 Grant St. SE, Atlanta

Cost: Free

This reoccurring outdoor winter market will have various vendors, including Bamboo Juice, The Little Tart Bakeshop and MOON Organic Inc. The Eventide Brewing tap room will later open at 11 a.m.

Big Game Brunch

When: Feb. 3, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Where: Atlantic Station, 1380 Atlantic Drive NW, Atlanta

Cost: $55 in advance, $65 after Jan. 24, $75 day of the event

Before the Super Bowl begins, head over to this brunch happening in Atlantic Station. Admission includes mimosas, Bloody Mary’s, wine and beer, along with eats from local food spots. Bon Glaze, Delights By Dawn and Smith’s Gourmet Creations are a few of the restaurants setting up shop at this event.
