It’s almost time to say “goodbye” to 2018 and “hello” to 2019.

When: Dec. 31, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Where: Fernbank Museum of Natural History, 767 Clifton Road NE, Atlanta
Cost: $8 for members and $22 for non-members
This family-friendly event will feature a countdown that will culminate into a balloon drop at noon. There will also be a kids’ DJ, snacks and a resolution station.
When: Dec. 31, 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., 1:30 to 4 p.m.
Where: Children’s Museum of Atlanta, 275 Centennial Olympic Park Drive NW, Atlanta
Cost: $20 for adults and children, $10 for member adults and member child, free for babies under 1
Two countdowns will happen at the Children’s Museum of Atlanta. The day will include dancing, bubbles and special guests. The first countdown will begin at 12 p.m. and the second one at 3:30 p.m.
When: Dec. 31, 7 to 11:59 p.m.
Where: Dad’s Garage Theatre Company, 569 Ezzard St. SE, Atlanta
Cost: $40.50 to $50.50
Tickets to this New Year’s Eve bash will get attendees champagne and a “Dad’s Garage toast,” along with improv and sketch performances. There will be two countdowns at 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. during the night.
When: Dec. 31, 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Where: Live at the Battery Atlanta, 825 Battery Ave. SE, Atlanta
Cost: $110 to $150
Party at the Battery Atlanta and get a chance to win big with their cash drop. Packages include drinks and food, along with party favors.
When: Dec. 31, 8:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
Where: The Westin Peachtree Plaza, Atlanta, 10 Peachtree St. NW, Atlanta
Attendees that bring in the new year at The Westin Peachtree Plaza will get to partake in drinks from five open bars and to listen to four DJs.

Where: Front Page News- Little 5 Points, 351 Moreland Ave., Atlanta
Cost: $70 to $95
This New Year’s party will span two locations in Little Five Points, Front Page News and Tijuana Grage. Participating in New Beers Eve will give partiers access to more than 40 beers, wines, well liquor and appetizers.
When: Dec. 31, 9:30 p.m. to 3 a.m.
Where: Gold Room Atlanta, 2416 Piedmont Road Northeast, Atlanta
Cost: $40 for general admission
The theme of this New Year’s Eve party is Black Hollywood. Be sure to get your ticket in advance, because the early bird general admission has already sold out.
When: Dec. 31 to Jan. 1, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Where: The Highland Inn and Ballroom Lounge, 644 North Highland Ave. Northeast, Atlanta
Cost: $60 to $175
The story of Frankenstein will be told at this New Year’s Eve ball. Attendees will be broken into three tracks of The Author, The Scientist and The Monster, which will determine how the story will be told. Expect for this party to be an immersive experience that will include bouquet making, a poetry battle and period games.
When: Dec. 31, 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Where: City Winery Atlanta, 650 North Ave. NE Ste 201, Atlanta
Cost: $99 advance, $109 after Dec. 21, $119 day of the event
