Local businesses are treating veterans and military personnel to some perks.
With proof of service or an Armed Forces ID card, veterans can be treated to free meals and entry into tourist spots in Atlanta.

Nov. 1 to Nov. 11
Get up to four half-price passes to the World of Coca-Cola, if you are a member of the Armed Forces. Free access to the place is available to retirees, reserves and active duty military members all year.
Veterans and active Duty Military can enjoy a free full-sized entree from a select menu of eight choices on Sunday, Nov. 11. The meals include the Classic Bacon Cheeseburger, Chicken Tenders Platter and Three-Cheese Chicken Penne.
Nov. 11 and Nov. 12-18
On Nov. 11, veterans and active duty military members of the U.S. military can get a free pizza, pasta or salad from a select menu. From Nov. 12 to 18, they can also get a card to redeem for a Buy One, Get One Free deal.
Snack on a free donut if you’re a veteran or active duty military member with no purchase necessary.
Nov. 12, 5 a.m. to noon
Get a free Build Your Own Grand Slam if you’re active, inactive and military personnel.
Active and former military members will be able to get in free, and their family members can gain entry for 30 percent off.
Nov. 11, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Score a free $5 HOT-N-READY Lunch Combo, if you are a veteran or active member of the United States military.

Reservists, active duty military members and veterans can choose from a free appetizer or dessert. Parrot Isle Jumbo Coconut Shrimp and Mozzarella Cheesesticks are a few of the appetizer choices. Desserts include Brownie Overboard and Key Lime Pie.
